People involved with brain injury are eligible to participate in two special national programmes designed to meet their needs:

• A Holiday Scheme for family members caring for people with brain injury: offering them a week's free holiday accommodation to recharge their batteries.  To learn more click here.
• Special Outward Bound courses for people with brain injury to rebuild self-esteem and confidence in a safe environment.  To learn more click here.
• Support Groups to cater for the differing needs of the people with injuries and their immediate family, relatives, friends and caregivers.  The Brain Injury Association (Auckland) offers a variety of support groups.  To learn more click here.
